Recipes for Recovery: how to make life a little easier when living with cancer
Do you know someone going through cancer treatment? Having cancer and going through treatment can impact the ability to eat well. For some people it may be a struggle to eat, putting on or losing weight or simply knowing what foods to buy, what to cook and how to improve their diet.
There are lots of myths and conflicting advice and information about nutrition so it can be tough to know what is best to eat. For those living with cancer, its it important to try to eat as best as possible to support their bodies to recover after each treatment or surgery so they are ready for the next challenge.
Recipe Book - to make life easier going through cancer
I recently worked with a fellow Registered Nutritionist, Lynn Burns to put together a little book of tips, simple nutritious recipes and links to some great resources to help people with cancer to keep eating well.

If you would like a copy for yourself or for someone you know then pop over to our JustGiving page and make a donation – we suggest £5, but it is up to you.
Maggie’s - everyone’s home of cancer care
We hope to raise a bit of money for Maggie’s Centres. These centres provide free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer. The first centre opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and there is now a network of these centres built beside NHS hospitals all over the UK. In 2019, Maggie’s launched an online community, which provides a space for anyone with or worried about cancer to share experiences and ask questions. There are also some Maggie’s centres abroad and several more centres currently in development.
